Would be nice if on one of the submenus we could have an aux memory. Referring to a drop down alpha or function sorted list of items that we use so seldom but need every once in a while but when they are needed, they are needed like RIGHT NOW. Examples include 7700 xponder and maybe definitions, freq to give pireps, freq to close flight plan, center freq, all the 7000 xponder freqs, and other items that the pilot can enter himself. Not much memory overhead and simple to program by the developers.

David,

Good ideas. We had the Squawk codes in the ADS-B Control Panel, but there were left our of the V8. I believe we are adding them back in for V9. However this short-code list is for when you have the SkyGuardTWX connected. I think it would be good to have a "User Built" Memo List, maybe even by category. I'll make sure that is on the Wish-List. Thanks for the feedback.

I would like to have a small user usable spreadsheet built into the iFly program. I find spreadsheets easy to customize, easy to use, and a great way to organize data and lists. - Jim Williams

Agree,

Remember you can always create a "PDF" Folder on the SD card of the iFly devices and then put your custom PDFs in there. You can easily make PDFs like Checklists, Common Freqs, Best Practices, Owners Manual, etc with Word, then save as a pdf. Then you'd have access to them directly from the MENU button within the Navigation software.

Hi Shane - PDF files are good for lists, but I'd like some math capabilities too so that I could put my E6B and other specific aircraft functions like takeoff distance at my finger tips. - Jim Williams
