This request is sort of intermixed within others but, I would like to plan fuel stops with automagic help while still on the ground. This would require a small amount of plane profile data, including size of tank, normal fuel burn rate, and how much fuel is in the tank after a fillup. This is especially helpful on long xcountries when your legs are as short as mine. Planning fuel stops is entirely math driven an is extremely tedious with current iFly capabilities, requiring actual use of pencil and eraser and paper.

David: It is easier to plan fuel stops on long cross-country flights on the iFly than you may realize, and does not require paper, pencil or eraser. First plot the departure and destination points; then you can use the dynamic distance/time ring to identify possible airports along your route of flight as you pan along the flight path. When you see a suitable airport at the distance/time when you want a fuel stop, simply drag your route line there to add it to your flight plan as a waypoint. Relocate the airplane to the waypoint (use that as a new departure point, for example) and repeat the procedure. Etc.. It is not ideal, and not as slick as planning legs on www.skyvector.com, but it works for me. ====Ralph

Yeah, that would work fine if you didn't have to dodge MOA's, Class B's & C's, TFR's, and other assorted BS in the way.

That's why I like to use SkyVector to plan flights on my computer.

Then how do you transfer the Skyvector plan into iFly?
