On my flight home yesterday from OSH (MVFR most of the way), it occurred to me that it would be helpful if the actual ceiling, visibility, barometer, and temperature were displayed within the confines of the shaded (red/purple/green) areas so that I can quickly get a big picture of the weather developing in front of me without querying each individual station. The screen has very little data on it, so it wouldn't really clutter anything up.

I would also prefer that the VFR areas not drop off of the screen as you zoom out. This makes it hard to tell where the weather is good versus where there is no weather information. the METAR circles might run together, but that would be just fine with me -- it happens now anyway when the stations are close together.

Thanks again!!!!

Don

I also like the vector indicator in the weather screen -- it would be more useful if it had flags (like winds aloft charts) that gave a visual clue as to the magnitude.
