Love the unit. Your version 4 note touched on my wish list item and that is to build a route externally and shove it in via the USB port. The difference in my desired method is I want to use an applet of your operating system on my PC. I can sit at home with my PC and use the 700 software to build and test my routes, viewing the same screen as seen on the 700, then load onto my memory stick and transfer when I get to the hangar. The touch buttons won't work but links representing those buttons could be made available for use.
I'm concerned that removing and reinstalling my unit time and time again will result in damage by dropping or breakage of the power connection. I would rather work with the software at home drinking coffee than sitting in the cock pit with the master on....
