MIssing History Button

My "history" button is missing. Even the pictures in the manual on the right side of page ten shows one picture with the hisory button and another picture just below it without the history button. What am I missing? I'm using vs. 7.5.2.

Only once there is history of recent things you've looked at do you get a history button. i.e. Do you have some activity history since powering on the unit? For example have you switched to an approach plate or something and/or opened the airport information page for an airport somewhere on the map etc. to build history of things you've looked at since powering on the unit?

Ah, yes. Now I get it. The history is deleted on power down. What I would like is an option inside the History button which lets me reload a recent destination. I t could hold say a max of the last 25 or so items. And, it doesn't get lost at power down. That would save re-typing the identifier. I'll move this over to the "Wish List" discussion area. Thanks.
