Okay, i take back my sighting of this bug. I have actually not seen the behavior described by the OP. What I saw was simply the 25-mi distance circle being overlayed on top of the airport diagram I pulled up. Obviously the lines the OP saw had nothing to do with the distance circles (since the circles are clearly visible in his photos).
