Walter and Staff,

I was wondering how the wifi connection issue coming along where you get redirected to another web page to log with a pass word. I am able to connect at home via wifi but while travelling most wifi connections redirect me and I can't update the system. I think once this issue is resolved the iFly unit will be much more useful.

Jim: Walter reported on 6/19 that "The forms-based authentication problem is corrected in the version 7 software.." I know I had downloaded and installed a patch to the OS that fixed that re-direct problem prior to version 7. ===Ralph

Well, I tried to connect at the local bar tonight where there is a redirect and although the iFly does connect i can't input the password. I thried all the various variations of the WiFi setup screen but am unable to connect to the server to update. I have version 7 of the software but this hasn't fixed anything for me.

Open to any suggestions??

Jim, after connecting to the wifi touch the "Update" option to update your iFly. If an html login situation is detected a new window should appear prompting you to confirm / login / etc. Did you get something like that? If not, contact our support desk you may need a tweak to your OS.
