I have a 740b, EchoUAT and iphone.  I seem to happily be able to connect both the 740b and iphone to the Pingxxx WIFI network from the EchoUAT.  I can push a flight plan from the 740b to the iPhone but the trying the other way (phone to 740b) around always fails.  That of course is the direction I'd really like to work as the 740b stays in the plane.  Any ideas?  Anyone else with a similar issue?

Thanks.

My normal process is to build my flight plan on my Android tablet, then transfer it to my 720 once it powers up.  That usually works without a hitch for me.  When there's a hiccup, it's typically because of some change in the normal sequence of power-up/network connection/click the "Share with other devices" button.  Like, the tablet is still connected to the FBO network instead of my Stratux network, or I accidentally clicked "Share with other devices" before the 720 finished booting and that changed how long it takes the 720 to pick up the shared plan, etc.  When I "stick to the script" and go through my normal routine (let 720 boot up while I'm pre-flighting the plane, then enable FP sharing once I'm strapped in and ready to taxi), it works smoothly.

Thanks. I think everything is connected to the WIFI fine since it will work in the other direction, ie if I send from the 740 to the phone, it works just fine.

From phone to 740 no joy.

I can also transfer from my PC to the phone without an issue.

My old Skyradar WiFi only allowed one device connected so this is new to me with the EchoUAT.

This is just a guess...but, the flight plan is sent as a broadcast message to the network.  Perhaps your phone is being "too smart", and since the wifi network doesn't have Internet it's choosing to route message to the cell network rather than the wifi network.  Try turning off data services on your phone and see if it works.
