I guess the question is, do I want a single unit with a big screen and $40/yr updates, or do I want to go to Wal-Mart, buy a Garmin for $90 with lifetime updates included, and have 2 units and a smaller screen? Decisions, decisions, ...

To update you will download and run the Naviextras Toolbox app, put the SD card in your computer (you will need an SD reader of some sort) - it should find the card and apply the update.

Walter,
I just received my Ifly Streets and installed it on the computer. After the update of the OS and the Streets card, into the SD card reader the Ifly Streets worked but I cannot get any traffic. Traffic is broadcast here in San Diego according to the TMC website . Also, the maps are from 2010 and do not reflect a freeway (I-52) that has an extension opened for quite some time. I tried to put the SD card into my card reader to check with Naviextras toolbox but for some unknown reason, the card cannot be read. I know the card reader works as I just downloaded some pictures using it. Any suggestions? Also, the Ifly street locked up 2 times while looking at "My Route" and I had to reboot.
Hi rvanpd,
Sorry for the confusion - the iFly does not support traffic. This feature requires a special FM receiver built into the GPS, which our hardware does not have. The manual is a generic document provided by our mapping provider, they included the traffic feature and we didn't catch it. So again, I apologize - I'll get our manual updated right away. If you would like to return your iFly Streets SD card I completely understand, just let us know: support@adventurepilot.com.
Thanks! Walter
