My iFly 700 boots straight to the GPS. I've never been able to get my 720 or 740 to do this. They boot to the main menu and you must hit the GPS button to get to the GPS. Where is the setting to boot directly to GPS mode?

Settings>Screen>On the top row is three choices. Main, iFly GPS, iFly Streets. Choose iFly GPS, and it will automatically start the iFly GPS program on startup.

There was an issue a while back, maybe 2ish years ago, where the fix was to boot to the main menu before booting to iFly. I can't remember specifics, but it may have been related to giving the GPS an extra minute to set the correct time so the logs or something would have correct timestamps.

We do ocassionally see an issue with this setting: The WiFi module not working, or the GPS taking a long time to lock. So if you see any issues on the device, try turning off that setting and see if it clears up. (It's so random and unusual we haven't quite figured out what's up...but probably related to CPU being pegged with other systems are still initializing)
