I have a friend who has a 720. He is 93 YO and has no computer (but obviously, still flies). Is there a way for me to grab his SD card and update it (I'll pay for the update or subscription)? Poor dude is flying around with charts way out of date.

I don't want to screw up my own iFLY Connect in the process.

Chuck,

The SD card knows whichiFly it belongs to, so no problem doing this on your computer. There are many FBOs that put iFly Connect on their public computer, so anyone can bring in their SD card and perform an update. This works fine.

You will need to have a subscription associated with his serial number on our server. If he never did this, give our office a call to set it up.

Thanks!
Walter
