This one

https://ifly.adventurepilot.com/shop-t136/accessories/dc-hardwire-cord.aspx

recommends 1.5 amp fuse inline.

i understand the purpose but have two thoughts:

The regular plug into aircraft 12volt accessory plug most iFlys use is typically rated at about 15 amps ..thus surely not fused at 1.5 amps .

so I'm inclined to infer either that the regular set up is not properly protected OR that the recommendation fkr fuse on the hardware cord is overkill.

and a suggestion. Fining a fuse case and a 1.5 amp fuse at RadioShack and the splicing it into the hardwjre cord is a bit of a nuisense ... Suggest you char $2 more and integrate the fuse into the hardwjre cord.

Alex,

Specifically we recommend a 1.5amp inline fuse if you are not connecting to an already fused bus. Perhaps that could read "minimum 1.5amp", because lower then that and you start running a risk that fuse might pop from regular use. But if you are putting this behind an existing fuse you should be fine.
