Hello iFly!

I have a Navworx ADS6000B that is connected by splitting the serial output to both an EFIS (AFS5600) and an iFly 720. I routinely get traffic and weather info on both units. However, on rare occasions at initial powerup, the iFly does not recognize the connection to the Navworx. I recycle the iFly and the connection is resolved. This happens rarely so the recycle is not normally an issue, but I am wondering if there might be a better technique. IE perhaps a better power on sequence to avoid the situation, or perhaps a different iFly action to reacquire the serial connection?

Your thoughts?

My problem seems to have been operator error.. Mine! Somehow I missed that Navworx is now a selection for connected devices. Even though I am hard wired and the selection is listed beneath wifi, now that I have Navworx selected my connection issue seems to be resolved..

Thanks!

Dick
