(just for clarity, the same high def charts are on the iFly 700/720/530 - we are just able to compress them more so they don't take as much space on the iFly SD card. -Walter)

I got a 16 GB card yesterday and it is working fine!

I can keep the original, 8 GB card in my flight bag should I need the iFly Streets.

thanks for the tip on the iPad. I have a 16 GB and it gets cramped for space, as my Garmin Streets and Peterson Birds of North America are competing for Memory...

The Garmin is better for street nav, in my opinion

And the Peterson is essential in Bird Strikes to decide to Report or Bury the evidence!

Jim, you can transfer the all files and folders, but iFly Streets will not function on the new card as the license is bound to the old SD card. We do offer a larger 16gb SD card option with iFly Streets on our store. I hope this helps.

Hi Shane,

I've _cloned_ my SDcard from my 720. Different than copying the files and folders.
Did it so I have a spare card and can take one home to update... and have a spare in plane incase of some weird corruption/failure of the card.
Works fine in the 720 for flight navigation.
Never tried it for the Streets, but cloning should make and exact duplicate of the card including licensing files/id.
I imagine the card .... cloned or not.. is bound to operate in one and only one iFly.

Most cloning software will clone from a smaller SDcard to a larger. Some would defeat the purpose by using only the original space (making a 8GB partition on the 64GB target card. Some would use the full space as intended.

I run the 16 GB SD card. I use the excess capacity to store the POH, Log Books, Maintenance Manual, Parts Manual, Equipment List, W&B data, pictures, 337's, etc. All information I may need if I breakdown away from home base so the A&P can see anything he needs.

I keep the Street's SD card separate, never update it, and only use it for rent car use. It save time booting not to have to pick NAV or STREETS.
