I have been able to connect my ifly directly to my headset using a cell phone interface to hear alerts .. I would like to connect the audio to my pm1000 intercom using the music input jack and had a couple questions . ( I cannot hear alerts from my speakers cause they are flush with the panel ). I was able to connect a cd player to my intercom in the past but its been a while.
My questions :
1)I have a cable with 3 ring plug connector on one side and 4ring plug connector on the opposite ( tip ,middle ,base + tip ring, ring and base ring ) . Which side goes into the Ifly the 4 or 3 ring side ) Or am I using the wrong cable .
This is a picture of a similar plug but mine has 4 on one 3 on the other end .

2)I was unable to get " bank angle" , "sink rate" and "dont sink" from the unit even after some aggresive maneuvering . Is that normal ?
3)Is the alert volume controlled via the music player external to the gps function .
