I still can not find a way to delete multiple "Past Flights" all at once. Deleting one at a time is a royal pain. I looked at the SD card while still in the iFly and can not find them in any folder. I have not taken the SD card out and put it in the PC, but I would prefer not to have to do that even if it did work.

Is there a way to turn off the recording of Flights? I like to view past flights occasionally but can live without it if I must continue to delete only one at a time.

Thanks

dr

Dennis,

There is not a way to delete multiple past flights from withing the iFly. If you are very careful, you can insert the SD card into your PC and navigate to User folder and then the Logs on that SD card. The files in that Logs folder are your past flight. You can remove them if you like, but be very careful.

Might I ask why you are trying to remove the Past Flights, they really don't take that much space.

Hi Shane. Sorry for the late reply.

Have not talked with you for a while. Hope things are going well.

The reason I would like to remove the Past Flights is because:

1-The entries are not sorted. They seem to be added helter-skelter and the one I am looking for is always hard to find. Therefore keeping the number of past flights to a minimum by deleting some makes it a little easier to find the one you want. It would help a lot if the entries were sorted.

2-I also just like to keep my drives uncluttered. I think it will eventually cause a slowdown problem if too many entries are added...but maybe not. Cleaning up files on my PC drives seems to help speed things up.

3-I don't like to keep removing and re-inserting the SD card. I fear that the contacts might get damaged. That's why I still use my USB flash drive for updates. The USB plug seems to be more rugged than the SD card and its plug.

Thanks

Dennis
