Is there a way to set the Ifly 700 so once you put it in night mode, it will stay there until you change it? Whenever I start it up for the second flight at night, it comes up bright white (day mode). If I had any visual purple left, it's gone now.....

Anyone have any thoughts other than covering it with your hand?

This has been reported as deliberate, because if it comes up in night mode during the day, you can't make out the screen well enough to put it back into day mode.

I hope that is correct because I've been flying with the brightness turn down to minimun at night because I couldn't get back to day mode from night mode durning the day. I'll have to try it out now. Thanks for the info on that.

Alright! I just tried it out. Now I can fly in night mode. It's funny though how it seems like it's booting up in night mode after reboot.

Why not have the display switch to day or night mode depending on the time of day? Sunset/Sunrise times are pretty much well understood.......
