Hi Walter,
You wrote, in part --
"Note, if you touch a TFR and pull the airspace information the exact ACTIVE & EXPIRE date/time provided by the FAA will still be shown."
At the risk of digressing from the issue which is SOUND like you have well in hand:
Yesterday when at about 2pm Pacific daylight time I did a TFR update I found a large TFR on the Klamath Falls sectional just south of mount Shasta. It is currently still showing on the AOPA flight planner (my iFly isn't here to see it on the iFly) as follows: "!FDC 2/4544 ZOA CA.. FLIGHT RESTRICTIONS 35 MILES NE OF REDDING CA. Pursuant TO 14 CFR Section 91.137(A)(2) To provide a safe environment for firefighting aircraft operations. Effective immediately until further notice. SFC - 9,000 MSL Aircraft flight operations prohibited within an area "
When I touched that same TFR (I'm 99.9% sure it's the same one) on the iFly it, of course didn't pull up that much detail, but it did have the 0 to 9000 feet there. Oddly, though, it said the TFR was (and I quote exactly) "Always."
Any ideas/explainations?
Alex
