The issue with the "Options" bubble not appearing near the top of the screen is corrected. But honestly, I'm not sure what is happening with the original post. I don't have this problem. But I suspect if I saw what was going on I'd have some ideas. I'll ask around the office see if anyone else recognizes this description.

Cobra, and everyone else: The audible chirp is somewhat misleading - it only means the device recognized your finger touched the screen, but it has nothing to do with whether or not you actually touched the "sweet spot" of a button. No matter where you touch the screen it will give a chirp - anywhere and everywhere it chirps, unlike your cell phone which only chirps to signal you actually hit a valid menu choice or key on the keyboard. I do not have this touch-lag issue on my 720, but I have learned that I have to PRESS with authority (using my fingernail) on the "sweet spot" of a button and not tap the screen timidly. Incidentally, I've turned off the audible chirp since it serves no useful purpose, IMHO. ===Ralph

Cobra, Try this: If you touch a button and hold it will 'highlight''. Without releasing the button, drag your finger away from the button, then release your touch. This should recreate the behavior you describe; but this is by design, it's an intuative way to "abort" a button push. And it works on most buttons, menu items, etc.

But of course this shouldn't happen accidentally. I suspect your screen may be out of calibration and it's confusing your touch points. Try using a stylus to touch the map at various points. Is the pop-up market appearing at the exact spot you touch?
