Since the 700 recognizes that it has been touched (see above), that is not the issue. Also, I don't think applying a stylus in turbulence is a good idea; liable to punch through the screen.

Input (tap) issues were discussed in another thread long ago although I don't recal specific screen locations mentioned. I too had input issues until i started using a stylus. Since then it's been a non-issue.

Regarding the original point of this post (taps "register" but are not acted upon), this behavior occurs while using a stylus. Also occurs while using my fingernail.

Walter (or Shane or Ed or Brian or ...),

Could you please confirm the issue described in my original post from this thread is still on the list to get fixed? v7 and v7.5 have both been released (at least to "mature beta" level) since I first posted, but I still see this behavior on my 720 running 7.5.5b.

Just want to make sure it hasn't been forgotten. Thanks!
