An older Thread mentioned iFlyGPS was looking for a vendor for a kneeboard.

Since I don’t see one in the Store, so I am guessing that fell through...

Anyone have any that they have tried out???

I think until we can switch to a vertical layout it will be somewhat impractical. I've tried using my existing basic kneeboard and Velcro and it worked fine....accept that it was too wide and got in the way.

Thanks Dave!

I guess I should have mentioned the aircraft... LSA with a stick. But I have not actually sat in it (next week) so I am in the dark for now...

I can see how, with a wheel it could get crowded. Makes me wonder about these ones for an iPad work out.

I've got a center stick in my XL2 and the iPad definitely gets in the way - tried it on the ground and knew immediately that it was a no go. Same for the iFly in the horizontal layout. Once it goes vertical its going to work perfectly.

Now if it only had 5-7hr runtime on internal batteries........

Dave/Ed

i fly predominatly warbirds that have no room for ipads and the ifly works well if you put some self adhisive velcro on the back of the ifly unit and then get a 24" peice of 4' wide velcro and put that around your leg and slap the ifly onto that. You pick the side but i have noticed for the stuf with a stick you will want it on the left leg as your arm covers it while in normal flight..i use this method in P51/F4U/T6/and stearmans with very good results.

fly safe
