Hi Dick,
Glad you are enjoying the new approach plates! Your point no. "2" is a great idea and is already on the wish list for a future release. As to point no. "1", if you touch the screen with your fingernail anywhere on the chart other than right on the course line (to avoid rubber-banding), the halo on the course line will go away making the info underneath easier to see. We are hesitant to remove the course line to the runway, because users are "rubber-banding" backwards from the runway to each of the fixes they are planning to fly on the approach. This is the poor mans way to load an approach, and can be done prior to departure if you know what approach to expect... very nice for your arrival.
Perhaps in the future, we will be able to add a feature that allow you to select an approach and have it auto-load. Always a work in progress!

Ed,
Thanks for the idea of "reverse rubberbanding" from the destination airport to the various fixes along the approach path. An issue I kept having the other day was that when I tried to build an "approach flight plan", when I'd get done, and go back to the map to see the results, the iFly kept showing a magenta line from my current position direct to an intermediate fix within my flight plan rather than to the first fix designated in the flightplan. I tried building an approach flightplan at a different airport, but got a similar result. What am I missing?
Regardless, the reverse rubberbanding seems like an easier way to skin the cat. I'll give it a try. Your input on my flightplan problem would be much appreciated.
