Walter, with the new OS installed, the SkyRadar connected. Once in the air, the "connected devices" choice showed the IFly had downloaded over 200 METARS, TAFs and winds aloft, but I could not get anything to show on the vector page when I touched PSP or any other airport around Palm Springs. The NexRad didn't show, but I didn't expect it to as it was severe clear for 100s of miles out here in the desert. PSP has METARS as does Ontario, but neither would do anything on the screen and I was at 8500 feet which is below the 12,000 peaks around.

Any ideas on why it wasn't printing on the screen???

Desert flyer, have you created an update package with "weather & tfrs" since you installed version 6? If not, please do this - it will install some files that are necessary to complete the integration with the sky radar. (Note: This is something we recently discovered...but those files are so commonly included with an update package I was wondering if anyone would ever experience this bug).

Walter, thanks for taking the time out of your day to respond to our questions. I have downloaded the latest "TRF and Weather" and will try tomorrow. I have temporarily mounted the SkyRadar on the glareshield. Has anyone had any luck mounting the SkyRadar under or alongside the instrument panel? I was wondering how the screw-on rubber ducky antenna of SkyRadar would pick up a signal under the panel???
