Is recalibration like a 5 minute no brainers (sometimes I have no brains ) or does one have to take a 2 year ground school to master it. ;-)

Yes, it gradually will start leaning to one side or the other. To recalibrate to level flight, you tap on the artificial horizon instrument and tap recalibrate Stratux or recalibrate iFly. However, you need to be in level flight when you do this.
