740b Flight Plan

740b Flight Plan

I put in a flight plan using my base airport as the first waypoint and then an airport to the west as the second waypoint. Saved it and then opened it up and the flight plan added a VOR waypoint ten miles east of the base airport as the first waypoint in the routing. ????

Did you type K in front of airport name? Is the VOR and airport name the same 3 letter identifiers?

I put in K6J0 KAIK and it inserts CAE (vortac) for some reason.

I just tried it on my Windows computer and did not have that problem so, IDK. I lived in Aiken from 1970 to 1975 by the way.

Thanks. It doesn't do it on my Android phone either, just the 740b. Guess it's a bug just like the repetitive flight plan page popping up when I select EFIS.
