I just received the unit today, I haven't flown with it yet, but have noticed that the "scroll the map with your finger" is a bit...touchy. The map kinda moves but also flashes and kinda doesn't move. It acts as if my finger isn't making contact with the screen. If I use a stylus it works perfectly. I tried calibrating the screen using a stylus, also tried calibrating the screen using my finger...no joy. All the other features work as far as the "touchscreen" goes.

Try scrolling with a fingernail - that works well for me. Also, I was already used to an iPod Touch before buying the iFly and found that I needed to apply more pressure with my finger than I would use on the Apple touch devices. Once I became comfortable with the "feel" of the screen, all was well.

I tend to use the back of my fingernal for scrolling. The screen is very tough, it's safe to do that.
