Both of my power cords have the "L" shaped connector to plug into the GPS.

I purchased the unit a year ago.

I understand that the battery has been changed. The old battery had a battery cord that had an L shaped GPS connector and a USB plug connector on the battery end. The current battery has a straight plug connector on each end. Unfortunately I have the new battery.

There are 3 power cords that can plug into the GPS. The AC adapter cord, the cigarette lighter cord and the battery cord. The AC and cigarette lighter cords have L shaped connectors on the GPS end and the current battery cord has a straight barrel connector on the GPS end.
