I've promised myself for a couple of days to report what appears to be a bug of bugs in version 9 on the 720. This problem may exist only for certain locations in far west Texas, or it may be more common. I've only checked some of the airports in my area.

This problem occurs when I try to use what was called “REALVIEW.” The image for Tarus Mesa, 4TE4, shows a cross wind runway which I do not believe exists. In addition, the indicated runway alignment does not match the photo. On 5TE1, the runway is outside the bounds of the photo. 5TE5 also appears to have the runway mostly outside the bounds of the photo, There are others, I think, but these should illustrate the problem.

Please don't think this is intended as a complaint; I really like version 9. But somewhere in the transition from the previous version to this, a few things seem to have stopped working correctly. Thanks for a generally good product!

Jim, I just looked at these airports. This isn't related to version 9. Notice the text at the top of the image: "This airport has not be surveyed, this image based on estimated location". So all that's happened is the lat/lon data the FAA has for this airport is not accurate, so the resulting image isn't properly aligned over the airport. If you have accurate lat/lon data feel free to send it to support@adventurepilot.com, we are slowly correcting these as they are discovered.

Thanks!
Walter
