My cross track instrument started to slowly malfunction last night on a cross country trip. Normally it shows incriments down to just a few feet. Last night I noticed it would show either around 500 feet or zero, then the minimum shown gradually increased until it was either 0.5 miles left or right or zero. I have never seen this in previous versions.

Also the "page icon" shows up from time to time when I'm not even close to a WAC chart boundry, and sometimes even in the airport real view page?

Ed,

After flying and checking a little more, the page button seems present all of the time (even on the real airport screen) when I'm no where near another chart's boundry. Pressing the page button does nothing as there's no chart available near my position to switch to. I don't remember seeing this button before except when there was really another chart available.

Just trying to free up screen real estate...

David,

I've reported this as a bug. I notice it in WAC and TAC modes. It will pop the "Switch Maps" button when you are close to the edge of that chart, even if the next TAC or WAC is hundreds of miles away. Seems like a flaw in the logic for WAC and TAC mode. Seems to work fine in Sectional and Low Enroute mode. Thanks for reporting this.
