Stratus to Ifly

I am a little bit confused...based on a previous thread, others were talking about using Stratus with IFLY. I thought Stratus only worked with foreflight. Have you found that Stratus will work with ifly? If so, wouldn't that negate the need for clarity for ads-b weather and AHRS? tks for the response

The Stratus that is working with the iFly is the Stratus Gen1, and it does not have an AHRS built into it. We have not confirmed the new Stratus 2 with AHRS, we'll have one of these in the next few weeks in the shop to test. Have a nice Memorial Day weekend.

Shane, thanks for the quick response....if I understand you correctly, you are saying that the Stratus 1 does work with IFLY? That is interesting. My traveling companion has the Stratus 1 and uses it in the plane with foreflight on her ipad.... I prefer the ifly.... damn, wish I had known the Stratus would work Ifly; I wouldn't have bought the clarity....my friend has the Stratus 2 on order; we'll test it and report back later
