I was flying our Valley today at low altitude and of course, I got a terrain alert. I understand that I can inhibit the alert for the rest of the entire flight if I wish, but the terrain colors kept flashing on the map despite inhibiting the alert. It was just a bit distracting. Is there a way to either stop the terrain warning colors from flashing on the map or just turn them off entirely? Believe me, when I've flying "low and slow" in the Valley, my head is mostly out of the cockpit and looking at the terrain! HA!

If you have a profile view instrument/button displayed click on it.You'll see a Highlights button that should give you what you need.

Thanks, Alasdair,

I dug into the menus and found the choice of whether the terrain flashes or not - I like it much better just shaded and not flashing!
