John Miller, thank you for posting. We are aware of this issue, and consider it high priority. Version 10 of iFly should have this fixed, due out in early April.

I don't know the root of this issue just yet, but we are committed to fixing it, and are confident that we can, since it works for other apps on the same devices. Our method of polling GPS signal for the LG appears to be bugged. This method works for all other Android devices, except a handful of LG models. I believe it's a firmware bug, but we can work around it.

But there is more than one way to poll position from and Android device, and so we'll implement an alternative method, hopefully with good success.

Thanks for the positive response. In the interim I will use my phone, but will mis the larger screen of the tablet.

By the way, spell check doesn't seem to work any more when I check the spelling on my responses.

John, can you confirm if this issue was fixed in 10.3. If not, then we need to address it for v10.4, coming soon.

Please get yourself a screen name -- not sure how you got on our forums without a screen name. Also please reproduce this issue, then Send Bug Report, so that I can see the log. In the bug report email, tell me the times (in terms of seconds/minutes after startup) where the issues occur, to help me pinpoint those in the log.
