There is no difference in how the Play Store version and the manually installed Beta APK will work with your ADSB device. In theory, you should just need to connect your WiFi, and select the appropriate device in your iFly app (Menu / About / Connected Devices).

My best guess is there is something going on in the interface between Windows 10 and your Android emulator. ADSB uses a special protocol called broadcast UDP - it's not typical Internet traffic, so it's possible these are not being passed through properly. But I'm just guessing...obviosuly this isn't something we can officially support, but I'm happy to offer suggestions. If I think of anything else I'll let you know.

Thanks Walter, I think you are correct. What is frustrating is that yesterday, with Dave's help we got it working by doing this:

duosportforward add ifly2 UDP 4000 4000

That was when using AMIDuOS. This morning, it would not work, and now it still won't work using BlueStacks. Strange.

DAVE: how did you set your location in iFly? Thanks.

Hi Walter,

Wndows does not pass through all network traffic to DUOS so you need to be specific on which ports get forwarded. What port number do you use for Skyguard and Stratux? UDP and 4000? Also, what port number/protocol do you use for iFly to iFly communication for flight plan sharing?

I never got Bluestacks to use the simulated GPS (Duos worked just fine) for any application. I was able to force the location in the 'Set Location' app which allowed iFly to default to my home airport. Works fine when using the iFly for planning. Did you try your USB GPS?

Yep. The USB GPS won't work.
