>I'm currently simulating a flight and all the instruments look OK. However, the ETA:Final doesn't show anything.  Is it supposed to show the ETA to destination in simulation mode?<

Have you increased the speed?  If your simulation plane isn't moving, it will take an infinite amount of time to get to your Final (or any) destination.  I just tried a simulated flight, and as soon as I clicked the increase speed button, a numerical value was placed in the Final instrument.

>Also, as you approach a waypoint where a course change is required, the Turn instrument indiacates when to start the turn, but is there an instrument that shows what the next course to the next waypoint is before you get to the turn point?  It seems like you would have to check the flight plan to see the next course.<

The only instrument I can see that will do that is the "Bearing Final".  That would seem to do what you want IF you have a one turn flight plan.  Aside from that the only thing I can think of right now is to look at the magenta line and approximate the relative turn you'll have to make.

>One more question please.  If you're flying along on a flight plan, and you want to see the approach plates for a certain airport but you don't know where it is on the map (so you cant touch the airport to see the plates), what's the best way to see plates for an airport that's not on your flight plan -- assuming you don't want to change your flight plan?<

I don't have IFR plates installed, but the quickest way I could find in a few seconds was to click on "NRST"  Then, click on "Text Search" in the lower left corner.  That will give the ability to call up whatever airport you want.  I put in MIA, That will bring up the Airport Information page, Which may include the plates , but they don't seem to show on mine.  I clicked on "View Diagram", got the airport diagram, and on the right side of my screen was a button that said "Plates", which I hope will give you the plates you want.
