I am starting to think about getting an iPad for my self to act as a second screen for my iFly 720. My wife has said the iPad2 that I gave her a few of years ago is off limits. I have ordered the Navworx ADS600-B ADS-B Transceiver to install in my C-182. I also own a Grumman Yankee that I move my iFly between. I will probably wait a couple of years to outfit ADS-B in my Yankee, but due to fuel costs I tend to fly it more. I am looking for suggestions on which iPad to get, or maybe Android for my situation. I do expect that if I buy a better iPad then what my wife has, she will steal it and give me her iPad2 (Wi-Fi Only).

OK, thanks. That is part of my question. That was one of the original reasons I got the iFly was I saw the early iPads were too big. So today have the iFly on the yoke, and wondering when using the second display for looking at weather and other stuff if the smaller screens works better for most folks, or the larger screens have an advantage (working in small cockpits). I am thinking about a non mounted display laying in the right seat, or the right seat passenger's lap....
