Anyone usinv the 700 with the skyradar D2 out here??Just received mine yesterday.......went for a short flight to test it out.......I fly out of KDNV in IL......seemed to work but it locked up the gps a couple oc times........i rebooted twice and after that seemed to work.............I was able to get tafs..metars....winds....I dont think I will see much traffic where i am at but the D2 was not that much more then the aingle band so i went for it........If you are using the 700 and the D2 any info you would like to pass my way would be great.....thanks......Greg N45364

Per our conversation earlier, I think your ADS-B was working. The NEXRAD will only show on the Weather Mode. If the Metars, TAFs, Winds and such were there and update (not left over from an online update), it is connected. We currently do not support showing the NEXRAD on the Sectional or Charts, only our base map.

Try going to the Weather Mode next time and see if you see some NEXRAD. You can also touch and hold the screen in order to choose "Animate NEXRAD" loop. I hope this helps.
