You are very welcome. It's worked well for me and allows a lot of versatility. Brodit makes all kinds of mounts and mating adapters. Nice thing about this one is that it has a center tension screw so you can tighten it so it won't flop down. Glad to help. Have a great day Walt.

Shane, What is holding your new mount to the panel?

I made a 2 inch crossmember of 1/8 inch aluminum to fit right into the "Radio Stack" and screwed it into the stack screw holes. I just used an old Loran tray as the template, bent the ends at a 90 degree backwards and then matched the screw holes to the tray holes. That gave me the flat surface to mount the base plate to. I wanted it to be removeable and not alter the panel.

I'll probably go with the AirGizmo once they are released just because it will clean up even more. But I gotta tell you, I am spoiled with being able to swivel and tilt the iFly quickly and easily. I'll post pics if I change it. The AirGizmo should be in shortly. They said they should receive the final shot sample this week.

Thought I'd post a photo of my iFly 720 installation. I'm using a bit of velco and simply let the unit sit on top of the avionics directly underneath. Works great and easy to remove / reinstall.
