Typing in the Stratux address in the browser will bring up the WebUI. Check in settings to be sure GPS is enabled. Should happen automatically but still worth checking. Someone advised you to let it run all day. I agree. I am not familiar with the GPYes but the very first start may take a long time. It may also take some time if you throw it in the back seat of the car and drive 500 miles or you don't start it for 30 (arbitrary number) days. The GPS needs to build an almanac to work properly so it takes time to see all the satellites

Advantage?  A Stratus that does everything a Stratux does is $899.  You can build a Stratux for around $150 or buy one already assembled for not a lot more.  The ones I build and sell on Ebay cost me around $170 because I include a battery with mine.

I agree... But again I wish it cost $200 or $250 instead of $150 and yet I wish it had a battery and internal GPS worked flawlessly...

Oh well...

Tim, what is your eBay store (assuming it doesn't violate forum policy to post it)

We can't sell stuff here.  I don't have a store, I just build and sell one at a time.

Go with the external GPS. Spotty with the internal. I had the 172. Place with good view of sky. Blue Skies & Happy LANDING’s!
