It seems to be by design for just the reason you stated: to keep all platforms similar.

I spoke to someone at AP and they indicated that the custom waypoint data was being synched with the flight plan data.  I think that  AP statement was probably incorrect.  I would like some clarification about that.  Flight plans synching without the waypoints is a major shortcoming.

There were some issues with waypoint syncing, this is being corrected and will then be added to the list of sharing options.

Walter, thanks for addressing this problem.  Your service seperates you and your company from all of the other aviation apps.

I have a few issues with the Windows desktop and hoping that there is a work around.

The iFly windows starts out in the center of the US, is there a way to have it center at your home airport?

Will the iFly windows recognize a USB GPS?  It doesn’t seem too.

I just started up my Windows iFly program and it centered pretty much on my house location.  I don't have a GPS connected to my desktop, but it determines my position through the computer.  Via my IP, or however all the advertisements determine my position, I presume.  I would venture a guess that yours will start centering on wherever your Windows computer is, unless you have your secirity settings such that no program can determine your position through internet type things.
