Start-Up Error

Start-Up Error

I tried to start up my 740 today to plan a flight for tomorrow. When I powered it up, I get this message; Error: An unexpected error has occurred in esectional.exe. I tried re-seating the data card, but no luck. Any advice?

I had the same thing today, I flew yesterday and no problem. I have not changed anything on the -740, one day it works the next...nada. Must be that thing the Brits call atmospherics. Dan from Reno

We fixed a bug related to this. Please get the latest software when you can.

Walter,

I went to fly the airplane today, and upon 740 boot-up, I got the same "esectional.exe" Error. I did update the software as you suggested since the the last error (3 weeks ago), but it's back. I can't verify which software revision is installed, as I can't get past the error. I do believe that if I re-install, it will go away though (hopefully!).

I had to use an ipad for navigation! And that's not my first choice.
