Hi Guys, First post with several hours of seaching the forum behind me. The 740 and stratux are in front of me and I want to install it onto my RV4 panel with a Dynon D10A and EMS D10. I will hard wire the green power wire to my bus(1.5amp fuse) and the other wire (non covered will end up being grounded. How do I hook up the Stratux to the 740? What cables? What outputs go from the 740 to the D10A? Do I have to purchase additional wiring because other than for a remote antenna, I don't see much to work with. I was unable to find any type of schematic or diagram anywhere. Thanks, John in MN 0601054@gmail.com

The Stratux "talks" to the 740 over Wi-Fi. The Stratux is the Wi-Fi hub, and you connect the 740's Wi-Fi to the Stratux network. You do not need a password or encrytion code. You then tell the 740 to recognize the Stratux ADS-B source. Go to 'Menu', 'About' and 'Connected Devices' in the 740. Auto-Detect will probably come up, and the Stratux will likely be the only choice. Select it, and you're good to go.

I don't know anything about the D10 connections though . . .

The Stratux can be powered with a 5V battery or plug an adapter into your 12V source or you may want to hard wire it to your electrical system.

Not sure what green wire you're talking about, but iFly sells a power cord that can be hardwired to the bus for iFly power. The Stratux uses a typical 5v Android - style USB cord for power. If the two are close to each other, there's a USB outlet on the back of the 740 that I believe has been used to power a Stratux; might want to check with the iFly people to see if it creates a problem with the power draw. As for connecting to your engine monitor, I've not heard of that and not sure what could be gained. There's currently no ability in the iFly software to display engine sensor data. There is, however, video inputs so maybe you've heard of those being used somehow. That'd be interesting to see and opens up a whole new catagory for the iFly devices. Let us know what you discover!

The green wire is one of two in the 740 power chord. I'll hard wire that to my bus with a 2 amp fuse. The other wire is non coated and I'll ground that one. I will power the STATUX with a usb power outlet and it will work wireless with the 740. That clears allot up but still wondering how the 740 hooks up to D10A and also trutrak auto pilot that is also going into plane. I'll keep looking for those answers. Thanks all for getting me going. John
