I have had the Navworx 600 EXP unit for a couple months now and when it works it is great to have.

However, I have problems getting and loosing WiFi connection to My LG tablet.

This is not all the time, just when I need it the most...in the pattern.

I can monitor the WiFi from Navworx and can see a constant and strong signal. Then it drops out and gives a "No Heartbeat" message on IFLY GPS app. I look and find it is disconnected from the WiFi signal.

My unit is just under my seat and the wifi antenna is no more than 12" from my tablet or phone. Both have this issue.

Today before take off I was having truble trying to connect the table to the navworx WiFi even though the tablet said the signal was "excellent."

I COULD connect to my friend's Stratus WiFi even though his aircraft was 50 feet away and my tables said it was a "poor" signal.

I found that his Stratus is using Channel 6 on his WiFi and Navworx is using Channel 1. The Navworx set up WARNS NOT to change the WiFi configuration. I have a message into them to ask why not. I can change the WiFi channel on my router in a minute.

I am hoping to get this working before I depart for OSH.

Anyone else having similar issues?

John
