Yes. In one of the exchanges I had with the FAA to understand what they were telling me to correct, they wrote: "A portable unit should be configured such that it transmits a SIL of 0 (far left column) 100% of the time, whereas your unit is currently transmitting a SIL = 3 (far right column) 100% of the time." Here's another excerpt of the report with reference to the Baro data that FAA's complaining to you about (this is after Don's update, with SIL=0). I think maybe once the SIL output is set to 0, the FAA will essentially ignore the content of your broadcasts ("SIL=0" roughly translates to, "Don't listen to me--I can't be trusted!"), so maybe they'll lay off you. (Your broadcasts will still wake up the transmitters for traffic data, but anything you send won't make it to a flight controller display, from what I understand.)
