I am new to the Streets option as I have just purchased a new 720. It seems odd when I search for Wal Mart,

the nearest one it finds is about 100 miles away when there is one about 2 miles away. Also, it is off on my home

address. Maybe Adventure pilot doesn't have WAAS?

Sky: I have encountered at least three occurrences where an address was way, way off and I was able to confirm it was because of inaccuracies the geographic database. Even UPS drivers had the same issue with these particular addresses using the GPSes in their trucks. I have found Streets to be as good or better than my wife's Garmin Nuvi. It consistently gets me to my destinations with very good accuracy. I would guess that your nearby Wal-Mart is not in the database. You can always update the Streets database in your iFly whenever you wish via the NaviExtras web site, but that does not mean it will have all the businesses or latest highway changes in it. I don't know who or how the basic geo database gets updated (I have two friends who would LOVE to get their home addresses corrected). I always update my wife's Nuvi before a long trip of any great distance - about once a year. The SiRF Star – III GPS engine in the iFly is WAAS capable (at least the one in the 700 has been), however the Navigation software does not use the WAAS signal, and I cannot say whether Streets uses the WAAS signal or not. ====Ralph

I have had some issues with streets as well. My home address isn't possible to look up as it doesn't exist in their database. Updating didn't help but did cost some money. I live on a county line road and on my side it has a name, on the other side its a number. The street numbers aren't even close on the opposite sides. 900 on the other side is 7000 on my side and the GPS won't even let you look as it won't highlight any numbers or letters that don't fit in its database. Most phones and automobile gps units have no issues with this so I don't understand why navi can't fix it. I wish they were as user friendly and contactable as the IFly guys.
