I just received an email annoucing that EFB is now available at 15 months for $79.95. I wonder whether it is included in my ongoing iFly GPS subscription, or is it an additional subscription? Since it won't run on the 740, I'd have to have two subscriptions to keep the 740 and the Android tablet running - would not like that.

I don't think there's any change to the pricing model. The software itself is free, and you pay for data. I forget how the base data subscription works (I've had a multi-device subscription for years), but if it currently works with an iFly device and a tablet, then I think it will continue to work that way. (I know the base subscription works with up to two devices on the same platform, but I think it also supports a dedicated iFly device + one tablet or phone, too.)

I was thinking that it might work like that. I also have the multi platform license. I just checked and iFly GPS on my Windows machine did not offer an update.

It looks like they are in the process of updating the web site. Some of the EFB links don't work yet, and the Windows download page's most recent entry is 230+ days old.

Maybe next week we can download it.
