Is there any way to get a web browser version that can be accessed from any computer? The tablet is great for enroute but if I prefer to do my planning on a big screen with mouse and keyboard. I had been using iflightplanner for this but they recently removed the free option.
In the meantime, I would recommend https://www.fltplan.com/ and https://skyvector.com/. Skyvector is nice for basic "what-if"ing when you're in the daydreaming stages of planning a trip. Once you know where you want to go, fltplan.com is a good way to file your plan and/or print out a nav log. Fltplan.com also has a mobile app companion. It's a little weird, because the app will kick you over to a browser if you actually want to build/file a flight plan, but once a plan is built and saved on the website, you can download the nav log in the app and it will be available offline (in the air). The app also duplicates some of iFly's EFB functionality, including charts, plates, the Chart Supplement, etc.
Skyvector and FltPlan.com (both the web and app components) are free.
