Use of Flight Box Pro with Ifly 740b

Anyone used the Flight Box Pro ( https://store.openflightsolutions.com/collections/flightbox-ads-b/products/flightbox-pro) connected via wifi to iFlY 740b ? Appears that it should work as ADS B IN receiver. Interested in your opinion using this combo of ADSB In products. Thanks

As far as I know, a Flight Box is nothing more than a Stratux with some labels and the price doubled or tripled. I would buy a Stratux or build one yourself. You can get all the parts on Amazon.

The one I was looking at is a permanently mounted unit with ship 12v power. Although the antennas can be internal or external . The Pro unit also carries a letter of " certification" allowing it to be installed in a Cessna . Realize, this unit is a ADSB IN only .

Dennis, I was an early adopter of the Flight Box and have used it for two years without a problem. I bought the kit and built it although it only took about 15 minutes to get it going. I later updated to ADHARS with a new plug-in chip and different fan, and that works very well of the 740. It shows traffic and weather excellent on the IFly 740.
