What are the differences between these two?  The B model is priced lower than the regular 740; only difference I can see.

The 740 is slightly brighter than the 740b (1300 NITS vs. 1100 NITS). This has been a common question around the forum!

Here are links to the iFly spec pages for each device. They seem to confirm the only difference between the 2 is the screen brightness (and price):
