Flybuddy: I apologize, I might've misunderstood your question.  Are you asking for a way to always come up in EFIS fullscreen, instead of VFR or Vector?  In that case, no, you haven't missed something.  You have to turn EFIS on each time after you bring the app up.

I personally think it would be nicer, and easier (and consistent with the other map modes) if the checkbox for EFIS could stay on, like it does for VFR or Vector.  Then you could always come up in full (or split) EFIS mode.  Maybe that's coming later?  Right now, EFIS does not have the functionality of the other map modes.  So that may be the reason.

Flew with it today and still can't get the EFIS full screen. If I tap on the EFIS page I get a menu that  has the following options:

* Hide EFIS   * Allow panning while moving   * show traffic    * show flight plan   *settings   * close

If you hit settings you get the following options:

* Overlay size  * Vertical amplification  * rendering  * show realviews  * show roads  * show traffic * filter obstructions  *Show flight plan

I tried all options as well as main menu settings and screen settings..I also reloaded the software today. I simply can't get the EFIS to show by itself without the accompanying map.

The full-screen EFIS is not yet supported on the iFly devices, only split screen. Brian is still developing full-screen support for the iFly hardware. Full-screen is supported on the Windows version.
