The Dallas metro area is where Adventure Pilot is headquartered, and is probably either the default for when the unit doesn't know where it is, or perhaps it is showing you the last location fix it achieved. Either way, it's an indication that the device is not getting a good GPS position lock where you are. As mentioned previously, you probably need to move outside where the unit has a wide and unobstructed view of the sky to get a good lock. (You *may* also be able to get a good lock by moving very close to a large window that has a large sky view.)
Note that most phones' location fixes inside buildings are aided by the cell provider via an algorithmic combo of GPS, cell tower triangulation, and wifi network mapping. Your iFly device doesn't have the benefit of phone company help and relies entirely on GPS signals, which are very weak and are often too faint to use inside substantial structures.
Note further that due to the way GPS works, if it's been a long time (many days) since the last time the unit had a good fix, or if the unit was moved a significant distance from its last fix, it may take several minutes to re-establish a good position fix, so you might need to be patient. (The unit needs to know where the GPS satellites are. This loction information is transmitted by every GPS satellite, and your iFly should start receiving that information as soon as it has a clear sky view, but it takes several minutes to receive the whole set of location data.)
